CHILI COOK-OFF RULES

• NO store bought chili allowed

• Each entry will be provided 1 table for serving and display

• Each entry must be fully cooked, hot, and ready to serve by 1:00 pm

• There will be electricity available. Please bring your own serving utensils

• You may choose to furnish garnishes such as, but not limited to, cheese, cilantro, sour cream, crackers, etc, but not required. This is optional

• Participants are encouraged (but not required) to decorate your table

• Participants are encouraged (but not required) to name your chili

• Please list ingredients for allergy purposes

• Please label chili mild, medium, spicy or waiver required with ambulance on standby

Blind anonymous judging to be done by attendees

ROUND ONE is a taste test only

• Grab your pen and ballot

• Fill a tasting cup with just enough chili to taste

• Taste it, judge it, score it

• Fill out your ballot and cast your vote

• ROUND TWO dig in and enjoy!

• Dig in and enjoy big bowls of chili with all the fixings and wait for the winner to be announced

• In case of a tie, a tie breaker will be held
